Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laptop: HP Pavilion - 15-cc665cl

I ran the self check on my laptop and say's that the Hard Drive Short DST Check Failed. My laptop runs fine for approximately one hour and then the disk usage goes to 100%. The laptop does not respond to any input. I have to restart the laptop for it to work again. There are no apps downloaded on my laptop.

HDD is failing. Please backup your data/files before too late and savings money to buy new HDD.

The response by @banhien is most likely the best one -- but there is also a possibility that this issue is being caused by Windows Update, as that is know to drive the disk usage to 100% at times.

One way to check that out would be to disconnect the PC from the Internet -- thereby preventing MS from searching for and downloading Updates.  If the hour (and a bit more) comes and goes without the 100% problem, you have found the issue.  IF the issue repeats, then your drive is probably failing.

Good Luck
