HP chrome book

Hello

    Can any one please advise

Purchased a chrome book in  February 2019. Didn’t take out the extra warranty as with all the hype and good advertisement says a minimum of 4-5 years use

this chrome book has had very little use as it is used by my nine-year-old grandson On contacting HP support staff they just do not do anything and now want to charge me £196.44 but my point is regardless if it’s out of the warranty or not it is still a dangerous manufacturers fault this could’ve caught fire even worse could’ve killed somebody

I have been asking HP for a week now to call me to discuss this and I have been totally ignored disgusting service I am not a happy chrome book user and neither is my nine-year-old grandson

In the several minutes since your first post to the last, it is normal that you might not receive a notification of response - "we" are a community volunteer workforce - "we" are not HP Support.

Our concern for your situation is real; we are not "on call" to respond immediately to even those issues that are urgent to the customer.

That said, whatever is going on can be sorted.

Request for Review

  • I have submitted a request that someone review your question / concern.

Worth Noting

  • Our Community is not HP Technical Support, nor are we HP Sales or HP Service.
  • Our request for assistance on your behalf does not influence the outcome:  Our request is not a magic back door into HP Support.
  • The time frame (how long it takes) for a response is not controlled by the Community.
  • If / When there is a response, a Community moderator / agent will (should) post back on this thread before using other methods to contact you.

Note to those reading:

  • Do not contact random numbers posted in a public or private message by “new members”.  Vermin are looking for victims – don’t be next.
  • Please do not post any personal or case information here - we cannot make use of the data.
  • Posting personal information at a public site increases your risk from rats and scammers.
