While just browsing the internet, my laptop froze and then shut down, when i turned it back up it did not boot and had a black screen with a message saying boot not found, tried to do a hard drive check but it says it cannot find a hard drive. Any suggestions? Turn off your laptop with the power button, then leave it for a few hours. After that, try turning it on again.
That happened because maybe your laptop also installed the same update as my laptop.
Various error messages during booting due to a bug in the KB5035942 update (Windows Configuratipn Update)
The strange message that appears while the laptop is installing the update is:
1. No OS
2. SSD not found, then laptop opens HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI. When doing storage test, the message is as in the picture above.
But after I left it for a few hours, I tried turning it on again and managed to enter Windows.
