I have a Folio 13-1000eo (A7S52EA#UUW) s.nr. Edited

where the ssd is changed, i need to install an op that accept my MS Windows code so i can update / upgrade the notebook.

I have tried different windows, eg Windows 7 home and others, but i get some errors at different times on all of them.

Why can't i find the right op for my legal ms code?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

Could you please confirm if the operating system was pre-installed on your device when you purchased it?
If yes, you can download and use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to create recovery media on a USB flash drive.
You can then use that flash drive as a UEFI boot device to install the original OEM operating system on your new SSD.
