Hi,
Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78033.exe

Hello,
Removing is an option off course. But you don't want to loose the feature on your HP 3D DriveGuard e.g.
What does solve the issue.
Install the latest C++ Redistributable, see Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 for more information.
To download the installation package directly, click here.
It reinstalls VCRUNTIME140.DLL.
Hope this helps for you as well.
Regards Harm.
