Hi. My laptop is hP pavilion 15.

 

Product name.   4PY21UA#ABA. 

 

I am unable to see the advance option bios. 

 

Audio is not working. 

 

Here is issue. 

 

- I press f 10. Bios open.  When I press worng key.  Sound I can hear from laptop speakers. 

 

- when laptop turn on it shows no output device is found.

 

Please tell me the issue.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with audio on your Laptop.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.

 

Please follow the steps below to perform an audio test to confirm if the hardware is working fine.

 

1) Shut down the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.  

3) Press F2 once.

4) click Component Tests > click Audio, and then click Run once.

 

If you hear any sound from the internal speakers during performing the test, the speakers are working fine.

 

Kindly refer to the steps on this link to further troubleshoot and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

If the issue still persists, please follow the below steps to further troubleshoot.

 

Update the BIOS for your PC by clicking on the link.

 

Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.

Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.

Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

 

Please install all the pending updates for the Windows operating system following the below steps.

 

go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates. If the upgrade is available for your device and you want to proceed, download and install it.
