I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2. If you're experiencing a BIOS password prompt that you didn't set, the best course of action would be to contact HP Support for assistance. Unfortunately, I cannot help with resetting or bypassing BIOS passwords due to security and privacy concerns. Here are a few steps you can take:

Contact HP Support: They will be able to provide you with the necessary assistance and may guide you through the verification process to help reset the BIOS password.

Check Documentation: Sometimes, the BIOS password can be set by default by some organizations or by mistake. Reviewing any documentation or contacting your IT department, if applicable, might help.

Remember, attempting to circumvent the BIOS password without proper authorization can lead to issues with system security and compliance.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
