BIOS Error 501 + Lost Password

Hi

I may seem a bit thick, but are the screen shots your own?

If they are then I would suggest the CMOS battery is failing/has failed.

If so the stored password may have been lost.

Otherise a BIOS reset disk may help, like....

If in doubt please ask.

How to Remove a BIOS Password using Hiren's BootCD Hirens Booot Disk http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ Burn Hirens ISO to a disk http://goo.gl/3oHRnD Computer circuitry can hold power for a while after you take the battery out. That's why he says to take it out for at least 30 minutes ...
