I own an HP Envy x360 15-ds0013ca, which is fully compatible with Windows 11. After BIOS version F.30 was pushed via Windows Update in April 2024, hibernate stopped working entirely. There’s no rollback option available, and HP’s support site offers no updated drivers or BIOS fixes for this model — despite it being relatively recent and Windows 11 certified.

I’ve tried every workaround: restoring BIOS defaults, re-enabling hibernate via powercfg, and checking HP Support Assistant — nothing resolves the issue. The Realtek audio driver also crackles after extended use, and AMD video drivers are outdated with no updates from HP.

HP’s chatbot loops me into paid support, even though this issue was caused by a firmware update. I’m asking HP to:

Acknowledge the BIOS F.30 issue and provide rollback or patch options

Release updated drivers for Windows 11 (audio, video, chipset)

Offer real support for users affected by this update

This is not acceptable for a device that’s barely five years old and still meets Windows 11 requirements. Please escalate this to engineering or firmware teams.
