Normally, I use 45W charger which plugged in round slot. Today, I connected a 65W c-type charger to the thunderbolt slot of my HP Pavilion laptop AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics (2.10 GHz) for the first time. However, I noticed that the battery level decreased instead of charging.

There was an update related to "firm (something)". After updating my system and restarting it, I saw a message related to a firmware update.

Should I be concerned about this situation?

Hi,

Let the PC completely update and all should be fine.

What is the exact model number of your machine?
