Product: Compaq Presario CQ61-330SA
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

HI,

 

I have a Presario CQ61-330SA and  it's started to produce a black screen on switch on with CAPSLOCK and NUMLOCK lights flashing at about 1 second intervals.  It will not boot and after reading some stuff I've come to the conclusion that it has a corrupt BIOS.  Can someone tell me where I can download the latest BIOS for this laptop now?  

 

It's an AMD Turon

 

Could you also give me some instruction on how to create a USB BIOS recovery and what to do with it?  

 

This laptop belongs to an elderly gentleman who is really missing his laptop!
