I was updating my bios update. It’s firmware Update and has got to
“Updating Camera Controller Frimware from version 011 to version 012.”
And is at 100%? And has been stuck at this for over 2 hrs.
it also says “Do not turn off or remove power from the system during the update.
Any interruption of the process could result in a non-functional system.”
How long might I have to wait before things move on or complete? If they don’t what do I need to do?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- When was the last time it worked fine?
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello,
i have since 06/2020 a HP Probook 640. And last year i had the same problem with firmware update. Now the Firmware update says: Updating firmware für den Kamera-controller from version 012 to version 012.
The update process stucks now for round an hour.
Last year i shut down the laptop by pressing power for longer time. After restart the update process starts for a longer time, then the laptop starts again and the update was finished.
BUT THIS IS NOT NORMAL!
Best Regards
Peter
