This "battery drain" issue results from two basic reasons:
Windows 10 loads too many background applications that consume battery power even if they are not being used.
The "Fast Startup" feature.
Besides that, the following are some other reasons for laptop battery problems.
Too many processes running in the background
A heavy application (like games or any other desktop app ) can also draib the bettery.
Any recent system changes, causing the fast draining of the battery.
The system is running on high brightness or other advanced options.
Too many online and network connections can also cause this problem.
The firmware installed can be corrupted, causing a power failure.
Bluetooth and wi-fi are enabled.
Other reasons can be a faulty driver, too many peripheral devices, and so on.
The issue could be with the battery itself:
If your laptop battery is user-serviceable (check the support site or docs) shop for a replacement battery and have at it. If yours is a non-user-serviceable battery, you’ll have to bring it to a repair shop to get a new battery installed.
Battery tips: When the laptop’s battery is below 20 percent, charge it. Otherwise, it puts a strain on it and results in reduced charging capacity. Also do not overcharge your laptop.
