Hi everyone - I use my laptop nearly every day for work (at home) and its always been fine. Today though the battery wont charge at all. Ive tried 3 different HP adapters, tried updating the BIOS (as suggested), tried uninstalling and reinstalling the battery drives (as suggested) and also the battery checker says my battery is fine. I can only use it now while its plugged in and the battery icon gives a charging sign and says '1% available (plugged in)'. it doesn't go any higher than 1% and as soon as I unplug it, it switches off completely. Really need help quickly as I've just started a new job and cant do my work without my laptop.
many thanks
Colin

I reviewed your post and I understand that the battery is not getting charged on the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you turn off the computer and connect the charger for a couple of hours and check whether the battery is getting charged.
If you continue facing the issue, then update the BIOS from the below link and test.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
