I really dislike my HP Noteboock (17-ca1002cy)
I treat it to a full 100% charge, do a shutdown.
Place it in its bag for 2-4 weeks.
When I try to start it up, the battery has been drained to less than 5%.
Everything else works as expected. Why has HP made my laptop tethered like a desktop?
I've never had this problem with my other laptops. It makes me really, really like my Dell laptop.
Have tried a number of things suggested on-line to try to make sure the battery is not in demand, system fully shutdown, etc.
I wish I could just unplug the battery in between charges.
Very frustrated.
