HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eh0015cl

Hello, my laptop battery percentage has dramatically decreased overnight. In the morning, it was at 18%, then it dropped to 17% while still charging. I followed the uninstall battery device driver and reinstall steps, and it dropped to 13%. Is there anything I could do to fix this? I'm hesitant in taking out the battery from my computer. Anything helps, thank you so much.

Hi @bonnied3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

This could be either the battery or the adaptor issue.

Let's try this first.

POWER DRAIN:

Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.

CBR:

Press windows key and then followed the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.

If the above steps do not fix the issue, Test the battery by clicking this link and keep me posted on the results

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
