HP Envy m6 K022dx Sleekbook. Has no cd-dvd drive and cant boot from USB.
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

HP Envy m6 K022dx Sleekbook. The system bios is corrupted and needs to be recovered. The system bios recovery failed. Unable to open the Bios signature file.

My computer has no CD-DVD drive. I downloaded a Windows 8 repair and recovery flash drive on a USB, but cannot get the computer to boot from the USB.

Reboot the PC, pressing F9 repeatedly the whole time.  This should bring up the Boot Devices menu.

See if the USB stick is listed among the devices. If it is not, then the BIOS/UEFI is not seeing it -- and that is most likely due to one or both of two settings: Secure Boot and Disable Booting from Portable Devices.

You would have to go into your BIOS/UEFI settings, look for those and change those.  You can  get into it by pressing F10 repeatedly while rebooting.  That should take you into Settings.
