HP ENVY x360 - 15m-dr0012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer had a update through windows. I click to restart since that's what the update required and It prompted me with BitLocker Recovery, stating I need a Key to get back in. Which I do not have. I checked all my emails but I only use this PC for school so only 2 emails are valid for a key.

Please Help. I don't want to reset and loose all my school work on my laptop.

Hi, I had a similar issue after updating the BIOS.

If you can't find the emails, you should be able to get your system BitLocker recovery key from your Microsoft account.

Login to your Microsoft account and click on the "Devices" tab. Click on your device and and you should see a "Manage" pull down menu. On the pull down menu, you should see a tab to get your BitLocker recovery key.

Good Luck!
