HP EliteBook x360 1030 G8 Notebook PC (1G7G2AV)

Hello everyone,

Summary:

- HP EliteBook X360 1030 G8 black screen until turned off when trying to access system diagnostics over the bios startup menu.

- Laptop operates normally but tried to access that menu to calibrate the battery.

details:

I have an HP EliteBook X360 1030 G8 and I have noticed that the battery is losing it's longevity, so I decided to get into the system diagnostics by turning off the PC and turning it on while clicking F2 repeatedly (I have also tried to get into the bios and to launch system diagnostics from that menu) In order to test the battery and calibrate it if possible. While I can clearly see that the system says that it is going for the system diagnostics menu, I only get a black screen and I can't do anything with the laptop until I restart it (the laptop is operable the only thing that's not working is getting into the diag menu + the camera shutter if that is relevant at all [tried to install all possible drivers but none of them worked but that's not what this thread is about]).

I would appreciate it if anyone can provide any help on this.

Thanks.
