HP Pavilion - 15-ck010ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good day all!
I have a massive problem here. My laptop droped on the floor, hdd side and now I’m unable to boot it. I already tried to pull out hdd and plug it « slave » into another laptop to read it and even there, nothing. I’ll install a new hdd, so my question here is: Is it possible to buy an hdd with already everything installed like when we buy it in store directly from HP? Giving serial number and everything?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi:

Unfortunately that would not be possible.

After you replace the drive, you should be able to use the HP cloud recovery tool with another Windows PC running W7 64 bit or newer to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

Here is the link to the service manual.
