If the notebook was refurbished by HP, the product number would have been 2R9H3EAR, the 'R' standing for 'Refurbished.'

However, it is not 'brand new.'

The 250 G8 was introduced to market a few years ago and the manufacture date of your notebook was in 2021 during the 50th week of the year.

So, if you just bought it new, then it is new old stock.
