Hi @TRJ2002,

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you’d like to know whether your HP Pavilion 15-eh1101au supports ChromeOS Flex. Let’s go through a few steps to check compatibility and help you decide.

Check the Certified Device List

Visit Google’s official ChromeOS Flex certified models page.

Search for “HP Pavilion 15-eh1101au.” If your exact model isn’t listed, it means it’s not officially certified by Google.

Understand Certification Meaning

Certified devices are fully tested by Google for hardware compatibility.

Non-listed devices can still run ChromeOS Flex but may face issues with Wi-Fi, sound, Bluetooth, or power management.

Test Using Live USB Mode

Create a ChromeOS Flex USB installer using the Chromebook Recovery Utility.

Boot your laptop from the USB and choose “Try it first” to check whether Wi-Fi, keyboard, touchpad, and audio work properly.

Decide Based on Test Results

If most functions work smoothly, you can proceed with installation.

If you notice missing drivers or hardware not working, it’s best to continue using Windows or try another lightweight Linux-based OS.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
