OMEN by HP - 17-an194nd

Since about 3 weeks, at start-up of my HP OMEN by HP - 17-an194nd, I get every time the following screen message:

"The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted. Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they change".

Following the advice of HP Support, I updated the BIOS successfully to their latest version. But the issue remains.

Can anyone advise me what more to do?

Hi @Edakrev

This error may be caused by a missing main battery or a damaged battery. Have you performed a battery test?
