Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Can I install windows 7 64b on HP envy x360 15-cp0598na?

On HP download drivers website there is no possibility to choose win 7 at all, but I know people managed to install win 7 on Bq101na. Please kindly help. Thank you in advance.

Hi:

 

The reason for that is that there are no W7, W8 or W8.1 drivers for the Vega 8 graphics.

You can only run W10 on there if you want the graphics to work.

Is it the case that no 3d acceleration, or no max resolution, or no multiscreen, or no power efficient when using default win 7 graphic driver?

Will win 10 vega 8 driver work in this laptop on win 7 with some limitation?

Is there any modified driver - some kind of "omega driver for vega 8"? Just 2d internal + external full hd monitor + power efficiency.

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to those questions.

 

I doubt the W10 driver will work, and I don't know of any modifications out there to get the driver to work on W7.

 

I know you wrote that others have installed W7 on that model, and it is certainly possible to get almost everything else to work but without a working graphics driver, IMHO your enjoyment of W7 would not be very good.
