I tried to install the latest windows 11 update on my laptop yesterday and lost audio. I tried to update the audio drivers but even though the system showed they were working, I couldn't recover the lost audio drivers and only got them back when I undid the update. Does anyone have advice on this? Thanks.

@KBS12

Please try a clean install Audio driver

1. Download https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp131501-132000/sp131797.exe

                and save on your computer
2. Use Device Manager to uninstall audio driver (if any),
3. Reboot machine,
4. Install downloaded file above,
5. Reboot machine.

Hope this helps.

Regards
