Can't find how to make restore backup dvd's?

I can't burn the restore backup dvd's to this laptop. Two nights of searching and nothing and then I found this from a HP representative;

   However those tools are not going to help for making a Windows 10 image. For Windows 10, the intention of Microsoft is to dispense with recovery images, however there are still ways to make one. Here are a few pages I found that cover the options in the operating system, how to make a repair disk, and to make an image.

I have 12 days to return this laptop to Walmart and I will if I can't make dvd"s I will. Hope this isn't going to be like the shut down button in win 8.

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

If you want to create HP Recovery media - I recommend you use USB pen drive as a source to store the recovery image.

Click on Start and search for HP Recovery Manager or something like this .  I found this video example >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQaOj2-KhZA

Also, note that if the PC arrived with Windows preinstalled by HP (a.k.a. OEM Windows), you already have a recovery images stored in the HDD's recovery partition and will/should work as long as the HDD works fine or something doesn't corrupt the image

Something else, probably the best back-up strategy is to :

- buy an external USB Hard Disk Drive (HDD)

and use this Windows built-in feature called System Image creation. More info:

You can often and regularly create exact images (copies) of the entire HDD of your PC and store this on an external HDD. You can then restore the PC to the exact same condition as of the date/time of the system image creation. You can create initial image, you can also later create newer. These images store everything on your PC including OS, drivers, programs, your personal data.
