@Ashishhv0,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues updating the BIOS to the latest version.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I see that there are few more BIOS updates after F.42. I recommend you install the below versions in the same order and check if it helps.

F.43 Rev.A: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp77001-77500/sp77046.exe

F.53 Rev.A: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80106.exe

F.54 Rev.A: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82501-83000/sp82645.exe

F.55 Rev.A: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp85501-86000/sp85681.exe

F.56 Rev.A: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88501-89000/sp88840.exe

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

@Ashishhv0,

Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you download and install the HP support assistant and it will automatically download and install all the latest drivers available for your computer.

Here is how it is done.

Download link: http://www8.hp.com/in/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_in/en/any/psg/pl...

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

    Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

     Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

  6. Perform any other update management actions as needed.

    • Postpone an update: Click Remind me, and then select a time preference.

    • Delete an available update: Click the Delete icon  to remove the update from the list and record it in the action log.

    • Review updates status: Click Action log below the list to view installed, postponed, or deleted updates.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

@Ashishhv0,

Thank you for the information.

Did you replace the motherboard with the exact same one?

If yes, then I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

If you replaced the motherboard with a different one then you will not be able to install the BIOS.

Cheers!
