I have a guaranteed formatted 512Gb hard drive and an authentic Windows 11 USB drive and installation code.
My problem comes when I try to install W11, the partition can't be found. On looking at the location for W11 I get this
Basic, USB-removable 476.94 GB/ASMT 2360 NVME USB drive.
According to the company formatting the disk - it is formatted ok but the HP Notebook is trying to put W11 on the USB drive.
Any suggestions as to how I can put W11 onto the hard drive.

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
What size is the USB W11 flash drive?
If it is less than 512 GB, then Windows seems to be identifying your 512 GB NVMe SSD as a removable USB device.

If your notebook has an Intel 11th >13th generation core processors, you have to load the Intel storage controller drivers when you are at the screen where Windows cannot find any drives to install on.
I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers your PC needs below.
Unzip and copy all of the files in the folder in the attachment to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the Windows installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
If Windows still can't find the drive, uncheck the box to include the compatible driver and try any of the ones listed.
Click Next, and Windows should install.
