HP15 f199nr notebook, the CPU fried my motherboard and I needed to change it. HP did not have one in stock, so bought from another source. Now my computer is showing a different serial & product number and according to HP Support Assistant is now a HP15 215x computer. So how do I change the BIOS to reflect the correct information HP15 f199nr or is my laptop now HP15 215x. Thank you for your help. Have a nice day.

Hi:
You would have to take the PC to an authorized HP repair center and have them tattoo the BIOS with the correct info using the HP DMI tool.
It is not available to the public.
