HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p254tx
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I bought this pavilion laptop in 2015 with WINDOWS 7. Now MS says that they are withdrawing support for WINDOWS 7 and are suggesting that the OS be changed to WINDOWS 10.

Will the laptop HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p254tx, that I have, support WINDOWS 10?

What should I do?

Hi:

It should, as there is a full set of W10 drivers for it on the support page.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-15-Notebook-PC-series/7486459/model/759...

You may still be able to get the free upgrade to W10 by clickiing on the blue Update Now button at the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

See this link for more information about that.   I was able to still get the free upgrade in July.
