Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new Spectre x360 on the way. I thought I might immediately clean the drive and reinstall Windows 10 to eliminate unneeded "sponsored" programs (aka "bloatware"). I know about the Microsoft tool to make a bootable installation flash drive. My question is, do I need any HP-specific drivers, and how do I get them and supply them to the installer? For example, I have the 4x4 SSD option. I don't know if that needs a special driver. Plus I assume I'll need drivers for the display (UHD amoled), sound, wifi, etc.

Second question, I understand that there is going to be a HP Tools partition on the disk. Should I keep it? Are there useful things on it?

Thanks for your advice.

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...

The answer to both questions is YES.

As to the drivers, you should follow these instructions to make a backup of the current drivers, and then use the backup to restore the drivers after the OS reinstallation:  https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/68426-backup-restore-device-drivers-windows-10-a.html

As to the HP Tools partition, the contents are useful but they will only work automatically with the HP OEM installation.  So, you should copy the contents to a USB stick and after the reinstallation, copy them to a folder on the laptop.
