Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had this laptop from new and got it directly from HP in the UK. I've never needed the UEFI password before. I didn't even know there was one preset by HP. How do I get the default password for it now that I need it. The support robot is useless at answering questions and trying to find a local support centre in the UK on the HP website indicates there isn't support for laptops here ( which surely cant be right). HP phone support isn't open and the support robot indicates that as the laptop is 2 years old I'll have to buy a support contract to get any answers. Is all this normal or is the HP's website and automated system really that bad?

 

Anyway, What do I need to do to get the UEFI password for my HP OMEN gaming laptop? I can currently use the laptop and everything is working I just need to change some settings.

For BIOS Password related issues, please contact HP Support in your Region for Service Options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
 

Keep me posted if you are still unable to reach Tech Support
