Hopefully you guys can help me out with this. I have a HP Pavilion 15 Cs0xxx that I am looking to upgrade to a NVMe SSD drive. I am able to disable the Intel Optane in the app on windows, but I do not have the option to disable Optane memory in bios. My bios has the latest version.  What can be done to disable that option in bios?

Most notebooks do not have a BIOS setting to disable the Intel Optane memory.

Your notebook must be one of the many that don't.

The only reason to disable the Intel Optane memory using the RST software is so you can still access the data on the hard drive.

So, you can safely remove the M.2 Optane memory and install a NVMe SSD in its place.
