Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I ordered a new ProBook which comes with an OEM Windows 10 Pro license. To avoid bloatware etc., I would like to do a clean install of Windows 10.

Does this affect the warranty, the right to return the product within 14 days or induce similar issues? Or am I free to do so without negative consequences?

I ordered the notebook in Germany, so any rules applying in Germany would be of interest.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Historically, reinstalling Windows does not violate the warranty -- but it does introduce other problems because using non-HP media will prevent HP drivers from being installed -- and with a laptop, that can be a serious issue.  Also, you will have to PAY for your own license because the version that MS provides is not an HP OEM license.

My own suggestions would be to leave it alone.  The so-called "bloatware" takes up very little space and consumes almost no processing power.  So, you're losing a lot to gain very little.
