I am using an **HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-fh0355ng (81M07EA)**, and I am currently unable to connect to the internet because the **Wi-Fi icon is missing** from the taskbar. I suspect that the Wi-Fi driver for the **MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922** adapter needs to be updated or reinstalled. However, without internet access on my laptop, I cannot download or update the necessary drivers.
I tried to access the **HP Support website** through my mobile phone, but it incorrectly detects my operating system as **iOS 18.x** instead of the Windows OS installed on my laptop. As a result, I cannot download the appropriate drivers directly from the website.
Additionally, after contacting **Microsoft Support**, I was advised to perform a **complete reset of the laptop** to potentially resolve the issue. However, I am hesitant to reset my device because I don’t want to lose important data, and I am unsure if this would even resolve the missing Wi-Fi issue without the correct drivers.
At this point, I am looking for guidance on how to proceed. Is it possible to restore the Wi-Fi functionality without resetting the entire laptop, and how can I get the correct drivers without internet access on the laptop itself?
In the end, YOU told me to ask support tho

According to the product specs I can find online, your notebook has the Realtek Wi-Fi 6 adapter, not the Mediatek one.

Here's the direct link to the latest W11 Realtek Wi-Fi driver your notebook needs:

I have no idea.
You saw the specs from that link I posted, and it started your notebook has the Realtek wifi.
If it has the Mediatek wifi and it isn't working, I can't help you with that, or why the update is failing.
You may have a good reason to be upset, but you're not taking it out on me, so good bye and good luck.
