Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My system came originally with Windows 8.1 both due to some feature failure I had no other option than to update it to windows 10. Now my PC is reminding me that my windows license will expire March 28, 2017. Contact your system admin for product key. What should I do?

Hello @Peller

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

Please, clarify :

- When did you upgrade the PC from Win 8 to 10 ?

- How exactly did you upgrade to Windows 10 - was it clean installation of Win 10 or it was upgrade install from inside Windows 8.1 ?

Based on the message it looks like recently ... or it was long time ago but for some reason Windows did not activate probably (was somehow de-activated) and now wants re-activation.
