hello, this is my case. The screen of my OMEN has not worked for a long time due to some problem with the controller (that is what i think). It occasionally turned on when updating a windows package or Bios. In short, I had been using it with an external monitor.
I tried to restore Windows 11 (it originally came with win10) but apparently when i choose the option to not keep files and clean disk, it removed HP Recovery. I currently can't use that option for some reason (i still can use "the recovery option, but the first one is blockeD). I would like to recover it through a pen drive but I can't find a place to download the fabric recovery image. I tried HP recovery tool but my id seems not listed in this tool. Do you know how I can restore it from the factory? Where can I get a system image? What alternative do I have? I have not been able to complete the reinstallation of windows since when it reaches 8% it restarts and the video that is sent to the monitor is lost...

Hi Irwin6
Thanks for your response.
I had already tried that step guide. To date I was able to solve the problem and reinstall Windows "blindly".
Just in case it helps someone, I did all the tests and i confirmed that the hardware is ok. That was not the problem. Apparently for this model there is some problem with the BIOS and the video drivers (for the GTX 1060) which make the PC screen not to work.
I tell you what i did. I reinstalled Windows 11 from the cloud twice more. Also reinstall the BIOS.
Finally, on the second reinstall with some key combination I casually activated the voice assistant for the installation. That way ( "blindly") with considerable difficulty I was able to complete the steps to install Windows.
Once installed, I activated safe mode and installed the generic drivers to be able to use an external monitor. With that, and only with an external monitor, I could finish the PC configuration and now, I can continue using the equipment.
With this I was able to confirm that the problem is the BIOS with the video card drivers (GTX 1060). And I also checked that the PC screen is fine.
At least with this I can now use the PC and I solved my problem. The PC screen issue is another issue and it will be another story.
