Factory reset with Cloud Recovery Tool

Good day

I want to factory reset my laptop, using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool program, however, when it asks me to enter the product ID, it tells me that it is invalid. I called technical support and they told me that because it is very old and does not have a warranty, there is little they can do and I should call Microsoft.

Also, when I use HP's supported platforms page, when I enter my product ID I get a comment saying: "Item0015 Please contact HP Support. https://support.hp.com".

Is there any way I can restart my HP OS?  Without using Windows creation tool, since the laptop behaves weird.

Hi:

HP no longer provides support for the HP cloud recovery tool for PCs that are 5 or more years old.

You will have to clean install W10 by making bootable installation media with the Micrsoft media creation tool from the link below:

Download Windows 10

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
