In order to fix the problem, you will need to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).

 

You will need to have a way to reinstall Windows 7, and I would not be able to help you with obtaining W7 installation media.
