I have a fingerprint scanner on my device. but in the sign-in option when I go to register my fingerprint, the system shows like this. (I attached the screenshot)

Did you buy Finger Print option for your machine because

 

        HP Fingerprint Sensor (sold separately or as an optional feature)

 

Clearly say on the specs
