Probook 440
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop screen was closed and when I opened it this was on the screen:

It's been 12 hours and it's been stuck at 100%. How can I fix this, I haven't powered it off at all.

I had same problem on HP Probook 440. Update stuck on Camera Controller FirmWare from 0004 to 0004.

Forced restart, BIOS continued been updated and system back to normal.

This is also happening to all of our HP ProBook 430 G8's.  We have over 1600 of them and are ordering more.  While forcing a power cycle is fine for IT we do NOT want to teach our users that it is OK to force off a workstation that is getting a firmware update.  Since they are now coming down with Windows updates users are seeing this issue.  What is HP doing to correct this firmware update as it clearly has a problem.  If you can't fix it at least pull it back so it is not affecting users.
