HP Recommended

My old HP g-series laptop won't let me get into the BIOS menu on boot up. Asks for the admin password or power on password and I don't remember. I've tried the windows key and B. It just goes to a black screen & the Caps lock and number lock are blinking. Sounds like it's booting up somehow but nothing happens.
