Hi Paul,
Thanks a million for your help !!!
I was able to install the LAN and chipset drivers along with the VGA, after a rebook the laptop is ok.
Small question - I can not find out how to use my F2 and F3 keys to change my screen brightness. I tried with CTLR+F2 or FN+F2 or ALT+F2 or windows key and F2, nothing seems to work. It is also not working for volume up and down F9 and F10. Any ideas ? Am I missing a driver for this keys to work ?
Your help is much appreciated !!
Kind regards,
Andrei.

You're very welcome, Andrei:
I looked at the support and driver page for your notebook to see if it had the quicklaunch software as a download for W8.
Unfortunately, it doesn't so I am not sure if W8 includes this software so it is not necessary or what.
However, the CQ57 has this software and as you can see from the driver info, it should enable the Fn keys to do what you need them to do.
"This package contains the HP Quick Launch Software, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, the HP Quick Launch Software enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This software works with the supported operating systems."
So, you can give it a try, and I hope that takes care of the problem for you.
Best Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks for all your help.
Unfortunatelly it is still not working the FN and F2 + F3 keys for screen brightness. The Volume Keys are working, the mute button, along with the ones for Internet and Media Player.
As a workaround I would have to click every time on my battery icon and select adjust screen brightness.
Once again I really appreciate your help. You are awsome guys.
Kind regards,
Andrei.

Hi, Andrei:
Sorry that didn't work.
There is one other program for business notebooks, you can try.
No guarantees it will work on your model though.
The display adapter driver I posted installed correctly, and you see the proper name of your video controller showing up under the display adapters section of the device manager?

Hi Paul,
The Video Card is showing as below :
AMD Radeon HD 7310 Graphics
The software HP Hotkeys can not be installed on my laptop, it's not compatible with it.
It's ok. I think that I will give a try to Windows 8 some day.
Thanks for all your help.
Have a nice weekend.
Kind regards,
Andrei.
