Thank you! Yes now my computer recognizes the camera. I still cannot open the camera. I am thinking I have a problem opening apps in general. I can click on "camera" and nothing happens. I am not sure what the problem is but I am at least relieved to see that the camera is being recognized by the laptop. I feel slightly foolish that there was an actual button on the side.

Hmm alright.

Can you try restarting the laptop and see what happens? Nothing's physically obstructing the webcam - correct?

Furthermore, do you have any other applications that you can use to test out the webcam? For example, Skype?

Kind regards,

Eddy
