My system crashed. I do not have any recovery CDs. Therefore, the hard disk is readable, I can see the recovery partition. But system does not starts normally due to windows is bad or missing necessary OS entities; when the laptop-computer starts, it indicates to Install Operating System. Please advice me.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
When Windows 8 came out, OEMs stopped including recovery disks with their PCs but includes recovery functions built into the boot process and hard drive. You have to order disks from the OEM, if you want them.
The problem you're having is generally due to one of two basic issues:
1) Failed hard drive
2) Corrupted/missing boot loader files
As to the first, please follow the directions in this link for testing your hard drive: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00439024
If that confirms your drive has failed, then you need to replace it. Please report back if that is the case.
As to the second, you will need access to a working PC for this step in order to create the media needed to repair your PC boot loader.
Once you have that, please download and create Win10 install media from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10
Yes ... I know that is for Win10, but it uses the same generation boot loader as Win8x, so it can be used to do boot loader repairs for Win8x as well as for Win10.
Boot from the media you created, and follow the directions in this link: http://www.windowswally.com/how-to-fix-error-code-0xc0000185/
You will probably have to run Startup Repair three times for it to fix all the boot loader problems.
When done, your PC should boot OK. If it does not, you have a more serious problem.
Good Luck

Thanks a lot for the reply; and this is a great reply. I like to inform you the following and need your good assistance.
1. I tried the first option; hard-drive passed the Quick and the Extensive tests.
2. Corrupted/missing bootloader files; it seems my equipment has missing bootloaders.
The screen displays the following;
"Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
Hard Disk (3FO)
F2 System Diagnostics"
I like to ask from you for the following;
Because, I have another Dell-i7-Notebook which runs on Windows 10, is it fine to create the media to repair the defected HP-Pavilion-i5-Notebook (this machine originally embedded with Windows 8.1 later upgraded to Windows 10 automatically).
Please guide me. If this is fine, then I can create the media to try.
Thanking you,
Harin
