My HP Pavilon laptop won’t start. Firts only power button was blinking, so I tried everything suggested online (power-shutdown, remove battery, adapter, restart). Now power button is not blinking, but the Caps Lock instead (3 pause then 2 blinks). Again tried the tips suggested for this issue but nothing. Any tips what to do? thanks a lot in advance!

Hello @szabi86 , how are you ?
Please, this is a possible failure in the equipment's memory, try cleaning the contacts and putting them back together.
If it remains the same, it must be replaced.
Even if it is changed, the error remains. You have to change the motherboard.

Hei @fabio_L32, and thanks a lot for your quick reply, I really appreciate it. I have tried that, following your instructions I again disconnected and cleaned/dusted off the contents and put everything back together. Unfortunately this did not solve the issue and I am still having the same problem 😞

Hello @szabi86
Unfortunately you will have to change the motherboard itself.
