Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Spectre x360 laptop that suddenly stopped charging when using Spectre chargers. At first I thought the charger was faulty, but I bought a new charger today and it still won't charge. The odd thing is, my laptop will charge just fine if I use my friend's USB-C Macbook charger.

What's wrong with my computer? I have tried restarting it, reinstalling the battery drivers, checking for updates, running the battery diagnostic, everything. It just won't recognize Spectre chargers.

Please help, I'm taking online school and I need to be able to charge my computer to attend classes.

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

This seems to be an issue with the Charging Port since you already tried a different AC adapter and the USB Type-C port works

At this point I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for Service Options

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Thank you
