Any HP PC people out there? I didn't shut my pc down and a weekend thunderstorm did it for me. I started it back up hours ago and received this message. The Delta number hasn't changed at all.
ANYTHING I CAN DO?

Not POSITIVE I have listed the correct pc.

The most common issue with thunderstorms and PCs are power outages and power returns.

The first causes the PC to shutdown suddenly and this can cause major problems -- as you have already seen. In many cases, Windows repairs these problems and you PC will start again, later.

But sometimes, it does not -- and if yours will still not start, despite repeated attempts, that means the OS has become corrupted.

If the PC starts up and tries to boot, then you may be able fix it by rebuilding the boot files.  If you want to do that and are willing to install some software, create a boot USB stick, and do some work, let me know.

The second issue is power returns -- which often result in SURGES which can "fry" PCs still on the mains.  When that happens, the PC will no longer even turn on -- but if yours does, then that has not happened to yours.
