HP Envy 15 x360 PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this laptop for about 3 years with no issues, that I can recall. Now, all of a sudden my laptop is really slow and always crashes and the windows I have open are unresponsive/stops working. I’ve done the performance tune up check and checked for viruses. I have no problems with any. Also, I have deleted all temporary files, history, etc., and still no improvement.

Please help!!!!

May be a failing hard drive. I would run some diagnostics. Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F2 System Diagnostics is an option. Tap F2 key and run the tests.

I’ve done all the tests even the extensive test, there’s no errors, but the laptop is still slow.

I'd camp out on the performance tab of task manager. See if any of the resources represented their show 100% (near 100%) utilization.

Watching Task Manager is a good tip. You might also want to install an app to keep watch on temperatures. Such as Speccy or HWMonitor.

If all fail to give an indication of problems-it may be time to do a fresh install of Windows.
