Product: HP Notebook - 15-bs194od

Computer would not start up properly, did a hard boot to run system diagnostics got a Hard Drive SSD DST check failed. tried to run system recovery which gave me restoration incomplete. When I turn my computer it keeps going back to the recovery manager restoration failed screen. 20230706_142450.jpg20230705_162809.jpg

Hi:

 

The DST failure means you need to install a new hard drive.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
